I was born and raised in Omaha, NE. I went to Western Hills and Laura Dodge for elementary school. I attended Morton for Jr. High, and I am a highschool graduate from Northwest. I moved to Washington State in 2009 and received my Associate's Degree from Tacoma Community College. After moving back to Omaha, I worked for The Redcross and for a life insurance company. I knew I always wanted to be a teacher, but having kids and bills made that difficult. I decided in 2015 that I was done working behind a desk and decided to finish my teaching degree. I took classes at night and online and finally graduate in 2018. I knew I wanted to work for OPS, and I am so happy to be at Prairie Wind.
I am married to my highschool sweetheart, and we have 3 kids: Kadin (12), Riley (6), and Gavin (1). We have a yorkie and a super fat cat. I like to travel, read, and go to the movies in my spare time. I also love HGTV and redecorating my house. Real Housewives is a guilty pleasure. I enjoy all music types, except heavy metal. You will notice that my classroom is decorated in llamas. I love llamas, and my husband would not allow me to decorate my house in llamas, so they moved to my classroom.
